The day I came upon this quote was the day I realized I didn’t have to keep quiet. I didn’t have to keep the pain tucked away behind a smile, or stay afraid of what healing might stir up. I’m the kind of therapist who can sit with you in the mess of life – because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in survival mode, unsure if things can ever feel different. But I also know the quiet power of doing the work. The courage it takes to begin again, and the beauty that grows when we tend to the parts of ourselves we’ve left unseen. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” but rather, about making space for what’s true, and learning to move through it with honesty, self-compassion, and a little bit of curiosity. Gently. Honestly. Fully.
